Procedure for OSP DOT Migration Application

Department of Telecommunication issued Notification to address OSP License holder for applying migration of registration. Notification No. 46-4/2018-DGT/5 was issued on 31 May 2019. It mention all OSP license issued before 15 November 2018 need to apply for migration of registration. This notification gives procedure for migration of OSP DOT license. All documents need to be submitted online along with digital certification of documents. Also onward all OSP License will be issue online only there will be no physical submission.

Department of Telecommunication made it mandatory for old license holders to apply for migration. Department started sending official emails to companies to apply for same.

List of documents for OSP DOT Registration Migration is similar to documents submitted at time of manual registration. However for migration documents need to be submitted online along with use of Digital signature of authorized person or director. Following is initial documents list required for migration.

1. AOA & MOA
2. Certificate of incorporation
3. Resolution of The Board of Directors
4. Power of Attorney duly notarized authorizing the signatory with attested signature.
5. Present shareholding pattern of the company (indicating Indian Equity & Foreign Equity)
6. Network diagram

Fees for OSP DOT Migration Application

Fortunately there is no fees to be paid for OSP Registration migration. Company need to ensure that they submit requisite list of documents in legal way to department.

Duration For OSP DOT Migration

Once documents are submitted to department in legal way , department of telecommunication take appx 3-4 weeks time to revert of application. If documents are as per legal requirement then officer may issue migration certificate. In case of flaws in documents then OSP Registration Migration will be sent for re-submission.
