For Promoting fair trade practices between buyers , builders and consumers RERA was introduced. Rera make it compulsory for intermediaries such as Real estate agent for registration under Rera. Procedure to apply Rera Agent registration is made online and simpler. Where Agent fails to maintain compliances as Rera rules and regulation then certificate can be revoked. Also penalty can be imposed on agent. Procedure for renewal of Rera certificate is available in Form J.

Real Estate Agent is person who is engaged in a transaction of transfer of his plot, apartment or building, as the case may be, in a real estate project, by way of sale with another person or transfer of plot, apartment or building, as the case may be.

Step No. 1 Prepare Documents

Procedure to apply real estate agents registration is online In Maharashtra. This process is complete online form making application to E payment of Rera agent fees. Rera agent login is mandatory for making application. Real estate regulatory authority provided login for Rera agent. Procedure to apply Real estate agent license is online. Step NO. 2 File Rera Agent Registration

After getting valid Rera agent Login from Real estate regulatory authority. Agent need to make application to Rera Authority. Procedure to apply Rera agent registration is online. Agent required to submit self attested documents. rera agent registration form is available online.

Step No3. Pay rera agent registration fees Online

Rera agent registration fees in Maharashtra for Individual Agent is Rs. 10590/-.Rera registration fees need to be paid online. For Listed banks Net Banking payment is allowed.

Step No.4 Get Rera Agent Certificate

Once documents and payment get verified by the real estate regulatory authority.

Authority grants RERA Agent certificate online. Certificate given is PDF format. This certificate is Signed with use of digital signature by Rera Authority.

Rera Agent Registration Conditions

• i) The real estate agent shall not facilitate the sale or purchase of any plot, apartment or building, as the case may be,
  in a real estate project or part of it, being sold by the promoter which is required but not registered with the regulatory
  authority;
• (ii) The real estate agent shall maintain and preserve such books of account, records and documents as provided
  under rule 16;
• (iii) The real estate agent shall not involve himself in any unfair trade practices as specified under clause (c) of section
  10 read with Rule 17;
• (iv) The real estate agent shall provide assistance to enable the allottee and promoter to exercise their respective
  rights and fulfil their respective obligations at the time of booking and sale of any plot, apartment or building, as the
  case may be.
• (v) The real estate agent shall comply with the provisions and the rules and regulations made there under;
• (vi) The real estate agent shall discharge such other functions as may be specified by the regulatory authority by
  regulations

What is Rera agent registration validity ?

Rera agent registration validity is 5 years in Maharashtra. For Example if Registration is granted on 01-01-2019 then it have below status in licesne.

The registration is valid for a period of five years commencing from 01/01/2019 and ending with 01/01/2024 unless renewed by the regulatory authority in accordance with the provisions or the rules and regulations made there under.
